The two sides of brain circulation – international and intersectoral mobility

The aim of this BMWFW/EC conference is to initiate a debate on and to illustrate how to attract global talent to Europe, how to make best use of the transnational and intersectoral flow of knowledge and how adequate opportunities for both male and female researchers can be ensured in order to make full use of their research and innovation potential. Within the EU research and innovation programme Horizon 2020, the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions are targeted to tackle this phenomenon and support researchers' careers and international and intersectoral mobility in research.

Thus, the focus of the present conference is to shed light on both aspects of “brain circulation” - the international, which refers to the international mobility of researchers, as well as the intersectoral one, which focuses on bridging science, research and economy.

Link to the registration website will be published as soon as it will open in January.
