On 28 June, the Info Day featured the 2017 Work Programme, lessons learnt from previous calls, as well as the brokerage event, organised by the BIOHORIZON consortium. The latter gave potential applicants the opportunity to exchange project ideas and make some contacts for applying to the 2017 calls.
The Info Day was opened by Marc Tachelet, Head of Department of the Research Executive Agency, together with John Bell and Aldo Longo, Director at the Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development(DG AGRI).
The plenary session of the Info Day gave an insight into the work programme, the main policy aspects of the 2017 Work Programme, including its novelties and about the lessons learnt in 2015 and 2016, from an implementation point of view an explanation of how the evaluation of proposals works as well as tips and trick on how to prepare a successful proposal.
During the break-out sessions, topics presentations provided participants with background information on the 2017 topics, based on the questions received before this event. Questions and answers sessions clarified some specificities of the Work Programme.
